Job Summary:
As a Finance Accounts Manager, you will be reporting and working closely with Finance Controller and will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting and reporting functions within our organization. You will be deep diving into financial data, doing variance analysis and improving operational efficiency. This role is critical to maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will lead a team of accountants and work closely with various departments to ensure financial stability and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records
- Ensure timely month closure activities as per the defined timelines
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and manage annual budgets.
- Assist in financial forecasting and provide insights for decision-making.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and financial efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants, overseeing their day-to-day activities and professional development.
- Ensure that the team consistently delivers high-quality financial reports and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Income Tax, TDS, ESI, PF and other statutory compliances.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Streamline financial workflows and document procedures.
- Manage and optimize cash flow to meet the organization’s operational needs and investment goals.
- Maintain relationships with banking institutions.
- Well versed in statutory audit, tax audit, transfer pricing study, ROC filing and other compliances, ensure compliances without overrun costs.
- Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Review and manage insurance policies, as needed.
What do we offer?
- CA, CPA with 10-15 years of experience.
- Big 4 experience is preferred
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including NETSUITE and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to changing financial environments and priorities.

- This role may require occasional overtime and periods of intense workload during financial reporting periods and audits.
