Bachalli is among 40 honorees selected as the region’s most accomplished young business and community leaders in 2015
WAYNE, Pa. (May12, 2015) – The Philadelphia Business Journal has selected Suchit Bachalli, president of global technology company Unilog, a leader in the B2B eCommerce space,as a 40 Under 40 honoree. Each year, this prestigious award recognizes the region’s 40 most accomplished business leaders under the age of 40.
Bachalli was chosen as a 40 Under 40 forhis remarkable achievements and contributions as a technology entrepreneur and unabashed supporter of Philadelphia’s business community.
Bachalli is president of global technology company Unilog, an eCommerce and data services provider for the wholesale distribution market. In one year, he has taken a small IT outsourcing business in India and grown it into a leading multi-million dollar B2B eCommerce software company that serves clients around the world. As part of that expansion, he scouted sites in North America before settling on the Philadelphia region as Unilog’s U.S. headquarters.
Unilog’s landmark eCommerce product, CIMM2, is fundamentally changing the way mid-sized wholesale distribution companies compete. Always attracted to the enormous but underserved $5.4 trillion wholesale distribution market, Mr. Bachalli observed that if wholesale distributors had “an Amazon of their own,” they could compete against eCommerce giants like AmazonSupply and Grainger.
Bachalli is also an influential advocate for bringing foreign-owned companies to the state and region. As a spokesperson for and partner to the PA Department of Community & Economic Development’s Center for Direct Investment, he continues to be a strong voice for attracting foreign-owned companies to the region.
